The National African American Literacy Institute (NAALI) empowers communities through grounded literacy, restorative justice, and leadership development.
Our Goals
To listen diligently
To be intentionally purposeful
To increase the number of communities that are literate.
We advance liberation through reading, writing, storytelling, and truth-telling—equipping youth and adults with the tools to reclaim their narratives, heal generational harm, and lead with purpose.
From micro-schools to mentorship, from seminars to published voices to restorative justice, we build spaces where excellence is not only taught—but protected, practiced, and passed on.
